Consultation & Measurement
It all starts with a home visit from one of our experienced Austin replacement window experts. They will guide you through the window selection process, helping you choose the best window style, glass package, exterior color and interior finish to match your home’s architectural style and your personal preferences. This visit will include careful measurement of the windows to be replaced, as each of your newMarvin windows or doors will be custom-sized and individually built specifically for your home.
Once your window choices and measurements are processed and communicated to Marvin’s U.S.-based production facility, we will contact you with an estimated delivery and installation date. As the window installation date draws near, we will be in touch to finalize a day and time that works with your schedule.
Pre-Installation Preparation
A day or two before your window replacement date, we ask that you remove curtains or drapes around the windows being replaced to make room for our installation team. Also, please remove photos or frames hanging on nearby walls, roll up rugs or carpets, and move furniture away from the window area. That will save time on the day of installation.
In some cases, we may deliver your new windows and doors a day or two ahead of the installation date.
Installation Day
Our Austin window replacement crew will arrive at your home at a pre-determined time, ready to get to work immediately. They will need access to the interior and exterior of your home, as well as an electrical power source. We are careful to be as neat and clean as possible as your old windows are removed and new replacement windows installed. Most projects can be completed in a single day. Our team always cleans up after themselves! You will be asked to do a “walk through” of your new windows so that we can explain how they work, as well as provide tips on cleaning and maintenance.
Post - Installation
